A man died after being shot in Elkhart.

Police were called around 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13, to the 26000 block of Lake Drive to find the victim with gunshot wounds.

The man was pronouned dead at the scene.

The preliminary investigation indicated that this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.

Detectives with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office and the Elkhart County Homicide Unit are still investigating the circumstances that led to the shooting.
