The Indiana State Police are investigating a crash involving a LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office vehicle that resulted in a fatality.

Details about the location of the crash, as well as information as to what led up to the collision and the identity of the victim are expected to be released as early as Friday, Feb. 2, or after, once police say all witnesses have been interviewed and the investigation is finished.
