Michigan is looking ahead to the summer, and making plans to participate in the Summer EBT program to make sure children from low income families have enough to eat in the summer months.

Families can apply for Summer EBT through their school districts, and those who already receive SNAP benefits from the state can still apply for these supplemental funds, which the Department of Education has set at $40 per summer month.
