Valparaiso woman headed to prison after using her business to steal money

A Valparaiso woman is heading to prison for using her business to steal money from clients. According to the Department of Justice, 66-year-old Randi Scannell is facing 10 months in prison.
Police say she used her position as owner of Custom Drying Solutions to send invoices to a company for fraudulent “payroll expenses” between 2015 and 2020. All total, she and her family members made more than $460,000 from this scheme.
