An Elkhart man, Michael Dandridge, 39, has been charged with the murder of David Strowder Sr., 50, nearly two months ago.
On March 21, Elkhart police responded to a call on Morton Avenue.
According to court documents, Strowder’s wife identified Dandridge, her brother-in-law, as the shooter.
Dandridge allegedly left the scene calmly, warning his sister-in-law not to inform the police.
Strowder was found dead in a bedroom. A warrant has been issued for Dandridge’s arrest.
