The City of South Bend has announced the fourth year of Build the Budget.

City staff will be collecting feedback and ideas from residents through an online budget survey, voicemails and interactive budget games at community events.

During this year’s budget planning season there were over 1,100 resident engagements, and the City hopes to exceed that for the 2025 season.

The first budget hearing is scheduled for August 14 and residents can participate in the process through September 13.

All information about Build the Budget, including upcoming meetings and a link to the budget survey can be found at //southbendin.gov/budget.

To access the 5–10-minute budget survey directly, residents can visit //southbendin.gov/budgetsurvey and voicemail responses can be left by calling 311.
