The Sarah Crane Foundation’s 2024 Sarah Strong Run is coming up on the 28th.

The foundation, which was founded by the family of Elkhart Memorial High School’s Sarah Crane who passed away in 2013 after a five-month battle with colon cancer, hosts the run to raise funds for Passionately Purple which assists local families affected by cancer.

Registration for the run is open now and will close on September 27.

Participants can compete in the 5K Run/Walk or a 1 mile Fun Run, with the top three finishers in each age group earning a special medal.
