The man who crashed into Saylor’s Pizza in September has been sentenced to 180 days in jail.

22-year-old Jaquan Deon Chestnut pleaded guilty to fleeing and eluding police and resisting and obstructing police, earning two concurrent terms of 180 days in jail.

The Niles pizza restaurant was destroyed in the incident that took place on September 24.

The judge told Chestnut that it was his choice to drive at high speeds and to continue driving when the officer came behind him, stating that he needs to change the way he’s living his life.
