A Niles woman with a history of drug issues is headed to prison for multiple crimes committed last summer and fall.

Angela Jeanine Johnson pleaded guilty to receiving and concealing stolen property worth $1,000 to $20,000. For that, she was sentenced to 29 months to 5 years in prison. She also pleaded guilty to larceny in a building, attempted breaking and entering, and two counts of resisting police. For those charges, she received concurrent sentences: with the highest sentence being 16 months to 5 years. She must also pay over $4,000 in fines, costs, and restitution.

Leader Publications reports her defense attorney requested leniency, but the judge noted her criminal record, which includes more than 30 previous misdemeanors and 7 felonies.
