A two-vehicle crash early on County Road 22 left one driver injured and temporarily disrupted traffic.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:40 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, just west of County Road 29. A 2019 Toyota pickup was traveling northeast when the driver lost control due to high speed on slick roads.
The truck veered into the southwest lane, directly into the path of a 2012 Ford SUV. The SUV driver attempted to swerve but was unable to avoid the collision. The impact sent the SUV off the north side of the roadway.
The SUV driver sustained a complaint of pain in the left leg and hip and was transported to Goshen Hospital for evaluation. The pickup driver was uninjured. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
