One person died in Elkhart County following severe storms that hit the area on Sunday, March 30.

The National Weather Service reported that strong winds overturned an Amish buggy on State Road 13 near Millersburg.

Emergency crews responded, but the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
