Congressman Rudy Yakym has testified before the House Armed Services Committee, urging them to pursue balanced modernization of the US Military.

The Congressman spoke before the committee on Tuesday, highlighting the critical importance of defense modernization while also underscoring “the invaluable role” played by AM General in supporting the military and national security.

He called AM General “a cornerstone of our defense industrial base,” delivering Humvees that have been reliable assets for the military at home and abroad, and serving a vital military role for over 40 years.

AM General employs approximately 1,100 workers in Indiana, with headquarters in South Bend, and have recently been expanding their operations
