Former Martinsville substitute teacher, Brittany Fortinberry, is facing additional charges, bringing the total to 41, including incest and child molesting.

The new charges involve disturbing allegations of sexual abuse against two minors, with one victim disclosing multiple instances of abuse.

Fortinberry is accused of sexually abusing students, providing drugs, and engaging in harmful activities with minors.

The investigation began in August 2024 after a victim’s grandmother reported the abuse.
