Human Society of Elkhart Co waives adoption fees through June 14

The Humane Society of Elkhart County is near capacity, and is making it easier than ever to adopt a pet.

They report their dog kennels are completely full, and the summer is starting with a steady surge in cats and kittens. So they need pets to be adopted into loving homes soon. To try and relieve the overcrowding, the private non-profit group is waiving all cat and dog adoption fees through June 14.

Adoptions are available on a first come, first served basis. All animals adopted from the HSEC are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on their vaccinations, and ready to join your family.

They are urging the public that now is a perfect time to adopt and make a difference-without any adoption fees standing in the way
