J.D.’s Truck Stop robbery suspect sentenced to probation

A Stevensville woman involved in the robbery of J.D.’s Truck Stop last December has been sentenced to probation in Berrien County Court.
Gina Lee Stevens, 50, pleaded guilty to unarmed robbery and was sentenced to two years probation, 100 hours of community service, more than $450 restitution, and fines and court costs.
The heist happened in December 2024 at the truck stop off of U.S. 12 in Bertrand Township. Stevens was the getaway driver.
Leader Publications reports her co-defendant, Todd Forker, Jr., was not sentenced as he refused to be taken from tjail to the courthouse.
