Mishawaka to relocate Canadian geese

The Canadian goose problem may soon be solved in Mishawaka.

The City has tried numerous ways to control the goose population, finally securing a permit from the Indiana DNR to humanely relocate the geese.

The geese have overrun some public parks in the city, making them tricky for families to use.

To preserve the parks and properties, while also ensuring the wellbeing of the Canadian geese, Mishawaka will relocate them to new habitats that properly fit the needs of the animals.

WSBT says Mishawaka has not yet confirmed when the relocation will start or where they will be moved to.

Can we just admit that the silly things are no longer endangered and treat them like we would any other pest?
