South Bend Police are investigating after a person was stabbed on North Walton Avenue.

Officers were called to the scene shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22, and found the victim with a stab wound to the neck.

The individual was taken to a hospital and is listed in stable condition as of Saturday morning. Police say the investigation remains ongoing, and haven’t mentioned any possible suspects, arrests, or information about what led to the stabbing.
