A man has pleaded guilty to Voluntary Manslaughter in LaPorte County Court for the October 2023 death of 25-year-old Travis Clemons of Michigan City.
Dawson Mahoney was originally charged with murder but reached the deal ahead of his scheduled jury trial that was suppose to start this week.
Deputies found Clemons lying unresponsive near a vehicle in the 8600 West block of County Road 400 North after a reported battery. Mahoney will be sentenced on January 8th.
