Sen. Young votes to advance war powers resolution

Indiana Senator Todd Young joined Democrats and four other Republicans today in a high-stakes vote to limit President Trump’s military authority in Venezuela.
While Young praised last week’s “surgical” raid that captured Nicolás Maduro, he warned against a long-term American occupation.
Young stated he is not prepared to commit “boots on the ground” for a stabilization mission, arguing that any future military action must be authorized by Congress to avoid another “forever war.”

RINO Young is a weasel. I’m not one for blindly supporting anyone, even Trump, but young has a track record of voting leftist.

Young’s reasoning is dumb anyway. “Boots on the ground” for a “long term occupation” would require Congressional approval already. There was no point to Young supporting this bill aside from virtue signaling.

Hopefully we can primary Young in 2028. Last election, the worthless INGOP didn’t even field a primary challenger to him.

Once again Toad Young votes against THE PEOPLE. For Toad’s first 5 years in office he was apparently hiding under his desk. Then he came out swinging as an unrepentant RINO. By the way, he was also involved in influencing those 15 State Senators that voted against a redistricting. Pretty sure they will all be gone in the next election. When elected officials start acting like the opposition it is time to replace them with more suitable representatives in any legislature.
