South Bend schools win appeal to keep control of Clay building

A judge has ruled in favor of South Bend Community School Corporation in its effort to retain control of the former Clay High School building.
The Indiana Department of Education had previously ordered the district to make the building available for lease or purchase by a charter school, citing state law.
However, in a final decision issued Monday, an administrative law judge sided with the district, allowing it to keep the property.
School officials had previously voted to renovate the former high school to house vocational and career training programs.

Which judge?

We need to know. The law says what the law says, and a rogue judge who emotionally sided with public school administrators instead of parents wanted private schools should be outed.
