Two Elkhart men are facing felony charges after prosecutors say they robbed and kidnapped a 16-year-old over the weekend.

Police say the teen was walking near Goshen Avenue and Middlebury Street Saturday night when two men in an SUV pulled up, pointed guns, and forced him into the vehicle.

Investigators say the suspects stopped near Blazer Boulevard, demanded his backpack and one struck the teen with a handgun before he ran away.

Officers later found the suspect vehicle and arrested 19-year-olds Alvonte Fox and Tyvonn King at an Elkhart apartment. Both are charged with armed robbery and kidnapping and are being held without bond.

“Alvonte Fox and Tyvonn King”

Those darn Amish, at it again. Those Amish need to go back to naming their kids Steve and Jim, it might keep those troubled “utes” out of prison.
