Teen charged in connection to Michigan City stabbing

A teenager is facing felony charges after a stabbing in Michigan City over the weekend.

Police were called Saturday evening to a home on Ohio Street, where they found a 19-year-old man with a stab wound to the back. He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A 13-year-old suspect was taken into custody at the home. Investigators say the stabbing happened after an argument. The juvenile is facing charges of aggravated battery, battery causing serious bodily injury, and battery with a deadly weapon.

The investigation is continuing.
