Indiana State Police are renewing their plea for information in the 1988 murder of Evelyn Matchett in LaGrange County.

Matchett, a 67-year-old widow, was found murdered in her Pretty Lake home on February 4, and despite decades of investigation, her killer has never been identified.

Detectives say someone may still hold the key to solving the case and are urging anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward and help bring justice and closure to her family.
