Grace College student to be honored for saving lives of couple during fiery Pierceton crash

A Grace College student will be honored Tuesday morning, March 22, for saving the lives of two people after a fiery crash near Pierceton earlier this month.

Tyler Rothhaar and an unidentified person pulled a husband and wife out of their burning vehicle after a crash at U.S. 30 and S.R. 13 on March 11, Sgt. Chad Hill with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.

Rothhar, 20, lives in Ligonier.

He will be honored and presented with an award during the Kosciusko County Commissioners regularly scheduled meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Kosciusko County Courthouse, 100 W. Center St., Warsaw.
