A Goshen woman was injured in a crash and vehicle fire Wednesday night in Cass County.

Sheriff’s officials say it happened shortly after 9 p.m. on Harvey Street near Walnut Road in Cass County’s Porter Township.

They believe the driver failed to negotiate the curve and crashed into several trees. She was able to exit the vehicle before it caught fire but sustained injuries.

Officials do not believe alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
