Elkhart theft suspect sought by Elkhart Police Department

Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man suspected of stealing from Sears in Elkhart in March.

A theft occurred at about 2:38 p.m. March 20 at the store, 154 W. Hively Ave., according to a news release from the Elkhart Police Department

The suspect, who was seen on surveillance tapes, is a while man between 28 and 35 years old with medium build. He was wearing a dark coat and driving a dark-colored Ford Taurus.
