FLORENCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — The body of a man shot in the head was found along a rural road in southwestern Michigan.

The St. Joseph County sheriff’s office says the body was discovered before dawn Monday in Florence Township, near Constantine, 35 miles south of Kalamazoo.

The case remains under investigation.
