Man walked away from nursing home in South Bend, police say

A search is underway for a man who police say walked away from West Bend Nursing Home.

 

Willie Dillard, 72, is believed to have walked away from the facility at 4600 W. Washington St., South Bend, on Tuesday morning, Sept. 15, according to WNDU.

Dillard is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds.

Dillard was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, a puffy black and gray jacket and black pants.

The South Bend Police Department asks that anyone with information about Dillard’s whereabouts to call them at 574-235-9201.
