Wintry mix could make roads a bit slick on Wednesday

The snow that is falling in Michiana on Wednesday, Dec. 2, could make your drive a bit slick.

Light accumulations of 1.5“ to 2” are expected on grassy surfaces in far northern Indiana and southern Michigan, according to the National Weather Service of Northern Indiana.

As far as the timeline of the snow, most of the precipitation should fall in the late morning or early afternoon, according to ABC 57 Meteorologist Greg Bobos. A few isolated snow showers could happen throughout the afternoon.

Roads may remain wet in spots but could begin to freeze tonight as temperatures fall below freezing.
