Child prostitution suspect pleads guilty after undercover police operation in St. Joseph County

A Mishawaka man who police say answered an undercover online ad for sex with underage girls pleaded guilty to all three of his charges.

Patrick Zimmer, 28, pleaded guilty on Wednesday, Jan. 27, to two counts of child solicitication and one count of human trafficking, according to online court records.

He faces up to 30 years in prison when he’s sentenced during a hearing scheduled for March 8.

Zimmer was arrested in August. Police said he responded to an online advertisement for sex with a 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl posted by undercover police officers. He had agreed to pay $75 and showed up at the meeting place with $80 in his pocket.
