If you need to fill up your gas tank, you might want to hurry to the nearest gas station.
Gas prices are expected to jump about 20 cents, from $1.39 per gallon to $1.59 per gallon, in the South Bend area, according to GasBuddy.
The jump is expected to happen sometime in the next 37 hours.
The spike could be related to a rise in gasoline markets on Wednesday, according to Patrick DeHaan, a senior gas analyst with GasBuddy.
Yesterday’s 43% rise in gasoline markets was massive. Because of it, #GasPrices appear to be rising to $1.59 in MI, IN and OH this morning.
