Sobriety checkpoint to be set up in St. Joseph County on Friday night

Indiana State Police troopers will be looking for intoxicated drivers during a sobriety checkpoint in St. Joseph County on Friday night, March 18.

The checkpoint is part of the Operation Pull Over campaign officers throughout Indiana take part of every March, according to ISP.

The sobriety checkpoint will be set up at a specific area in St. Joseph County. ISP is encouraging drivers to have their driver’s license and vehicle registration available when they enter a checkpoint so that they can move through it quickly.

More officers patrol streets during Operation Pull Over, specifically looking for intoxicated drivers or people not wearing their seat belts.
