DUI checkpoint to be set up in St. Joseph County on Friday night

A DUI checkpoint will be set up in St. Joseph County on Friday night, March 25, as officers look for drunk drivers.

The location hasn’t been announced, but the checkpoint will be active from 10 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday, according to Lt. Tim Williams with the Mishawaka Police Department.

The officers working the checkpoint are working overtime paid with a grant from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
