Surveillance photo of Advance America robbery suspects released

Police in Elkhart have released a surveillance photo of the suspects who robbed the Advance America cash advance store in the 1800 block of Cassopolis Street on Monday, Aug. 15.

Two suspects entered the business, displayed handguns and demanded the money, according to Sgt. Chris Snyder with the Elkhart Police Department.

After taking money, the suspects took off on foot.

There were no injuries as a result of the robbery.

The suspects were described as black males with their faces covered possibly being in their late teens or early 20s.

One suspect was wearing baggy black pants and a black hooded pullover with a blue bandana covering his face. The other suspect was wearing baggy blue jeans and a gray t-shirt with a blue bandana covering his face.
