A Goshen bus manufacturer will almost double their production capacity thanks to a planned expansion.

Starcraft Bus is constructing a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, according to a press release obtained by 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth.

The new facility will be built next to the company’s headquarters, according to the South Bend Tribune. The headquarters are located at 2367 Century Drive in Goshen.

The company’s total manufacturing space will be expanded to 230,000-square-feet with the expansion, which is expected to open in January. The increased space means a quicker turnaround on getting bus orders completed and shipped, according to company officials.

Starcraft Bus is owned by Forest River Inc. of Elkhart. Berkshire Hathaway owns Forest River Inc.

It’s unknown if any jobs will be created.
