An Illinois woman has died after a crash on U.S. 31 in Marshall County.

The collision happened around 2 p.m. Thursday at U.S. 31 and 9A Road, according to WSBT.

Indiana State Police investigators say Donna Westerhausen, 79, of Tinley Park, Ill. was driving eastbound and pulled into the path of a southbound semi and van.

The semi hit the driver side of the Impala and forced the car into the van.

Westerhausen died at the scene. The driver of the semi and the driver of the van received just minor injuries.
