The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for LaPorte and Berrien Counties beginning at 3 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18 and lasting until 1 p.m.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the rest of the 95.3 MNC listening area with an additional 2 to 4 inches of lake effect snow that is expected to fall through 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Officials with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security have issued several travel advisories for numerous counties, including St. Joseph, Elkhart, Kosciusko, Marshall and Starke Counties in the 95.3 MNC listening area.
