Michigan State Police identify woman hit and killed by car near Galien

A female pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle.

It happened around 7 p.m. Tuesday night, on U.S. 12 near Galien, according to WSBT.

Michigan State Police officers say 50-year-old Gracie Harper was walking in the middle of the westbound lane when a car hit her.

Police also say the driver, who wasn’t hurt, didn’t see Harper in the road.
