Campus Crossroads worker at University of Notre Dame injured in fall

A workman on the Campus Crossroads project at the University of Notre Dame was injured in a fall Friday morning.

The 36-year-old male subcontractor was working on the exterior of the new Corbett Family Hall on the east side of the campus when he fell from scaffolding and broke both of his legs, according to the South Bend Tribune.

It happened around 8:45 a.m. Friday, and he was taken to Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The reason for his fall is under investigation and his injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
