A sex offender who was also convicted of killing two children in the 1960s is no longer in Michiana.

Richard Dobeski is living in the Wheeler Mission Shelter for Men in Indianapolis, according to the state Sex Offender Registry, as reported by ABC 57.

In 2015, Dobeski was released from prison in 2015 after serving a sentence for child molesting, but then arrested a few days later for failing to register as a sex offender.

That conviction was overturned, ABC 57 reported.

Dobeski was released from the LaPorte County Jail last month.
