The 17-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of shooting his uncle in Cass County faces six felony charges.

Dakota Stanley was arraigned on Monday, April 17.

The shooting happened early Sunday morning, at a home in the 17000 block of Kline Road in Milton Township.

On arrival, authorities found Stanley’s uncle, who suffered a gunshot wound to the neck.

The shooting stemmed from a family fight.

Stanley has a prior assault and battery conviction, as well as multiple drug charges on his record, according to media reports.
