The Elkhart Police Department feels they finally have their man.

41-year-old Nathaniel Ford of Elkhart was arrested after two house raids early Thursday morning. He’s accused of selling marijuana, cocaine, and heroin out of houses at 321 W. Indiana Ave. and 1013 S. 3rd St, according to the Elkhart Truth.

Elkhart police spokesman Sgt. Chris Snyder told the Elkhart Truth that Ford “has been a problem with drug-related and other criminal issues.”

At the W. Indiana home, officers say they found three handguns, ammo, over 100 grams of marijuana, over 6 grams of cocaine, over 5 grams of heroin, and documents showing past drug activity.

At the S. 3rd St. home, no additional drugs were found, but documentation was found indicating past drug activity at the home. Snyder feels Ford was operating out of both homes.

Ford is in custody at the Elkhart County Correctional Facility on $200,000 bond. He’s facing preliminary charges of dealing heroin, dealing cocaine, dealing marijuana over 30 grams, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of a firearm by a violent felon.
