An Elkhart man accused of killing another man and leaving his body in an alley to rot is set for court Thursday.

18-year-old Car’nell Trass was arrested last Wednesday in Kokomo. He’s accused of murdering 56-year-old Quinncy Jackson.

Court documents say that an argument over synthetic marijuana led to the shooting. Trass reportedly admitted to his uncle that he had shot someone and didn’t know if he was alive or dead.

The Elkhart Truth says three 80 caliber casings, a live round, a crack pipe, and a five dollar bill were found next to Jackson’s body when it was discovered two days later.
