An Elkhart woman accused of drowning her baby has another new trial date.

It’s the third time the trial for Mikayla Munn has been moved, this time to February of next year.

The Elkhart Truth reports that the 22 year-old former Manchester University student faces charges of murder and neglect of a dependent after giving birth in a dorm bathtub in March of last year, and drowned the baby. Her trial had been set to start on July 24 but was moved after a request from her attorney.

Munn has claimed that she was unaware of her pregnancy and in shock after giving birth. Security personnel at the scene made note of what they called her “cavalier attitude” about the death of the child.
