Two shootings reported in South Bend early Monday morning

South Bend police are investigating a shooting early Monday morning in the 600 block of Monroe Circle, west of Four Winds Field.

Shortly before 2:30 a.m. Monday, police responded to a call of a man shot in the neck. The victim is recovering at Memorial Hospital.

An hour later there was another report of shots fired a few miles away at the corner of Arthur and Bissel Streets. There were no injuries reported and shell casings were found in the street.

No information has been given in the search for suspects in either incident.
