Two arrested in drug bust after traffic stop in Roseland

Two men are charged with meth possession after a traffic stop in Roseland.

36-year-old Lucas Garrett from North Liberty and 42-year-old Thomas Campion of Walkerton were pulled over on State Road 933 at Pendle Street in Roseland at about 1 a.m. Sunday.

A police K-9 alerted officers of the presence of drugs, so the vehicle was searched.

Inside, officers say they found paraphernalia, methadone, and suspected marijuana. Campion was also allegedly found with suspected methamphetamine and more suspected marijuana and meth were allegedly found at St. Joseph County Jail, along with oxycodone.

Both Garrett and Campion are facing multiple possession charges.
