South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is engaged.
He announced his engagement to Chasten Glezman on Facebook, saying that it was Glezman who said yes and that he can’t wait to spend the rest of his life with him.
Buttigieg came out as openly gay in 2015 during the third year of his tenure. He’s since gone on to gain status within the Democratic party…puncutated with a run for Democratic National Committee chairman earlier this year.
