Flooding has damaged the basketball gym at Triton High School, making it unsafe to play ball there. And that could be the case at the Bourbon school for weeks.

School officials are currently looking for a neutral site to play their games. A busted pipe in the boys’ locker room created puddles across the gym floor Monday morning. This week the school is working with a consultant to determine if the floor can be repaired, or if it has to be replaced completely.

Tuesday night, Senior Night for the girls basketball team was relocated to the elementary school, and Thursday night, the boys basketball game will also take place at the elementary school’s gymnasium.

The school is also scheduled to host regional and sectional basketball games, but the status of those games is unknown.
