It’s been a busy week, so far, for South Bend Police, as officers have been dealing with at least two stabbings, a shooting and a robbery, all which happened on Tuesday, Jan. 23.

Officers were called to a shooting around 10:40 p.m. in the 400 block of West Marion Street.

Officers say an older man was shot and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Late Tuesday afternoon, South Bend Police investigated two stabbing incidents.

One of the incidents happened in the 1300 block of N. Browne Lane.

The victim was 17-year-old boy, according to South Bend Police. There was no word, late Tuesday, whether the person of interest in the case had been located or arrested.

On Tuesday morning, officers arrested a suspect in a stabbing incident. That one happened on Carroll Street, south of Ivy Tech.

Officers were also called to a reported robbery in the 2700 block of Mishawaka on Tuesday afternoon. Police described the suspect as a white or Hispanic male with face tattoos and wearing a gray hoodie.
