Fight among students, altercation with adult leads to school lockdown

There were a few tense moments at a South Bend School on Tuesday, March 6 as a fight between some students led to an altercation with an adult.

It happened inside Jackson Intermediate Center.

The inncident prompted a brief lockdown. South Bend Police were sent to the school to check out the situation, but determined there was no threat to students.

The lockdown was lifted after just five minutes, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.
